Case Study: De Sa & Associates - Merging Tradition with Modern Elegance in Legal Branding


Client Overview:
De Sa & Associates, a prominent law firm based in Toronto, Ontario, approached our design services in 2016 to establish a distinctive brand identity. This collaboration was a continuation of our successful partnership with Mr. Ryan De Sa, the firm's founder, with whom we had previously worked on design projects for various ventures.


Design Objectives:
The client's vision was clear - they sought a clean and classic logo that would authentically represent the professionalism of their law firm. Averse to overly graphic or trendy elements, the emphasis was on creating a timeless visual identity that exuded trust and reliability.


Strategic Approach:
In response to the client's preferences, we crafted a logo predominantly focused on text, with the oversized "&" symbol taking center stage. This design choice allowed for a visually striking yet understated representation of unity and partnership – essential values in the legal field.


Comprehensive Branding Expansion:

While the initial scope included the logo, business cards, envelopes, and letterhead, the success of the design prompted an expansion into a variety of marketing materials. This encompassed online and magazine advertisements, promotional pens, large-format standard and retractable banners, pylon and window signage, and trade show tablecloths.
